A Chinese blue-and-white porcelain candlestick of classical form, decorated with scrolling floral and bird motifs in underglaze blue. The candlestick has a gently flared trumpet base, a baluster stem and a shallow candle cup, finished with a softly crazed glaze and characteristic wear to the foot consistent with age and use.
The underside shows an unglazed rim with kiln grit and natural wear. A decorative border mark encircles the base. The piece is well-balanced and of pleasing proportions, suitable for a bedside, mantel or table.
Perfect to balance a lamp or vase at either end of a mantle or console.

Condition: Good antique condition with expected age-related wear, surface crazing. No structural cracks or restoration observed.
