Wedgwood “Willow” Lidded Pot — Etruria, England (c. 1920–1939)
A beautifully preserved Wedgwood lidded pot in the classic Blue Willow pattern, produced at the historic Etruria Works in Stoke-on-Trent between the 1920s and 1930s.
The piece bears both the printed backstamp “Willow / Wedgwood / Etruria England” and an impressed WEDGWOODmark to the base — hallmarks of authenticity from this early 20th-century period. The deep cobalt transfer depicts the iconic chinoiserie scene of pagodas, doves and flowing willow trees, rendered in crisp detail beneath a clear glaze.
Originally made as a mustard or preserve jar, it features its matching domed lid with a spoon notch — ideal today for serving condiments, holding bath salts, or displaying on a styled shelf.
Each element, from the delicate handle knob to the fine transfer print, speaks to Wedgwood’s renowned craftsmanship.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition with no visible chips or cracks; A display piece with no sign of use or wear.
