A beautiful pair of Edwardian silver-plated salad servers by renowned Sheffield makers Walker & Hall, dating to around 1904.

The pair comprises a generous serving spoon and matching fork, each measuring 23.5cm long, with wonderfully decorative fluted fan-shaped handles and small ball finials. The handles have an elegant architectural quality typical of the Edwardian period and make these far more decorative than ordinary vintage servers.

Marked Walker & Hall, Sheffield, A1 for their superior grade of silver plate, together with the maker’s distinctive marks.

They remain beautifully usable today and would look particularly lovely as part of a traditional table setting — perfect for serving salads, vegetables or cold dishes.
